Where do u like to eat?

Big fan of Scooby's in hollywood. LOVE Dinah's just up the street. Rick's is good if your in the mood for a greasy burger but I do like their zucchini sticks. There is a mexican place in Eagle rock that serves the YUMMIEST garlic shrimp...I am so bad at names., but this is the only place I order it. Pipers in china town...never had anything bad there...the fish is always good. It's late...and I was just wondering and thinking...and curious... :-)

Just a bit of levity...

We have a lot of chickadees that eat and play in our yard. Hummingbirds, butterflies, squirrels, doves and even a raven or hawk that sits on our fence at times and just surveys the yard. Needless to say there r always cats stalking the yard...lol. The funny thing that happened a few weeks ago...( I have a solar charged bird who chirps sitting on the wall by the birdhouse)...I went out to have a smoke and could hear him chirping but...he wasn't on the wall! I looked in the yard...tried...

Bees in house

Apparently I have bees making a home in the roof area of my house. I thought I remembered seeing something about bees on this forum but couldn't find it by making a quick search back to 2010. So, does anyone know of a reliable bee eliminator? Preferably one not too expensive. I've already found out the animal control people won't touch them.

Suspect knocked on the front door and spoke to victim. Suspect wanted to enter rear yard and complete electrical work. Victim did an amazing job of locking the front door behind him. Suspect distracted victim for about 5 minutes and then walked to the front and met suspect #2. Both suspects walked away...

Crime Maps

Does anyone know if there's a way to follow up on a crime? I was browsing through the crime maps, and each crime lists a case number, but no way to look up details. I noticed 2 crimes this week listed on there, but no helpful descriptions. How are we supposed to keep an eye out for our neighbors and our own well being, if there is limited info? Saw them on crimemapping.com, through the lapd site.

Organized team of begers at Post Office

I was wondering what actions can be taken to stop the recent development of organized family begging that happens outside the post office in Atwater Village. It is a team of people who also use babies and children as a way to gain more sympathy. I have witnessed these groups get picked up in a van at the end of the day and drive off with a group of people and I am certain the operation is harmful both to the neighborhood and to the young victims involved in the begging. Noisy birds?

Hi, I've been hearing a very loud group of birds around Brunswick/Dover recently. Does anyone know what type of bird this could be? As far as I can tell, they are not crows or bats. They seem to make a loud screeching sound when flying around their tree(s) as a group. Just curious. Thanks!

Washer / Dryer Issue

Since almost all of our homes were built around the same time, I thought this forum may shed new light on a problem I have ... the very small space to put in a washer and dryer.
